November 22, 2001 - The Word Is Spreading!

On November 22, we were very happy to have been featured on a special DJ-themed "Go With The Flow", a live internet/video-oriented television show on MuchMusic, Canada's national music station, broadcasting around the world. The response generated brings even greater momentum to the growing VinylBid.com community; spread the word yo!

We've implemented a new "info-at-a-glance" feature called The Digits, where you will find:

• The # of live auctions on the site
• The # of registered community members
• The # of Music WishList requests
• The # of Gear WishList requests

April 1, 2001 - Official Launch Promotion

Although VinylBid's services are always free to buyers (they need only register, also at no cost), sellers are charged fees in order to list and sell an item through our site. As a promotional incentive to join our community, VinylBid is offering all of its new members NO LISTING OR CLOSING FEES until further notice. We will announce implementation of listing and closing fees at least 1 month in advance on our announcements board and through e-mail to registered members.

You still need to submit credit card information through our credit card submission form to place a listing, however your card will not be charged for any listing fees or closing (commission) fees until the specified date. Sumbission of your credit card number ensures a higher level of responsibility and accountability for users of the site, both buyers and sellers.

Any special features chosen by users in this promotional time period will still be charged for, as per our Fees & Credits policy.
