share, or rent this information to others in a manner which is different from

Registration
In order to use the services
offered on VinylBid.com, a user must first complete our registration form. During
registration, a user is required to submit their personal & contact information
(such as name, date of birth, e-mail address, home address, and country.) This
information is used to contact the user about the services on our site for which
they have expressed interest, to screen out potential users who are not of age
from using our site, as well as to keep track of users who may have committed
offences on our site. It is optional for a user to provide us with information
such as their phone number or company name.
Sellers'
Accounts
We
request credit card information from those users who wish to post items for sale
on VinylBid.com. Here a user must provide credit card information (such as name
and billing address) and financial information (such as credit card number, expiration
date). This information is used for billing purposes only, to charge a seller
our established service fees.
Statistical
Website Information Gathering
In
order to gather statistical data about the way our site is used by our visitors
(such as the number of page views, or number of unique hits), we use IP addresses
to track users' movements within our site. The IP addressess are used solely for
this purpose, and will never be used to personally identify a visitor to the site
in any way; all statistical information will be gathered in aggregate form.
Sharing
We may share aggregate
demographic information with our partners and advertisers. We will never
share personally identifiable information with third-parties.

Surveys
& Contests
From
time to time our site may request information from users via surveys or contests.
Participation in these surveys or contests is completely voluntary, leaving disclosure
of personal information & opinions solely at the discretion of the user. Requested
information may include contact information (such as name and shipping address),
demographic information (such as zip code, age level), or opinions regarding our
website or others. Contact information will be used to notify the winners and
award any applicable prizes.
Referrals
On the VinylBid website,
a user is given the option to inform a friend, via e-mail, about the services
offered at VinylBid.com or about a particular auction listing. If a user decides
to use our referral service for informing a friend about our site, we request
the friend's name and e-mail address. VinylBid will automatically send the friend
a one-time e-mail inviting them to visit the site. VinylBid will not store
the friend's name or e-mail anywhere on its system after delivering the e-mail
invitation, as that information is only used to ensure the message's proper delivery.

takes every precaution to protect its users' private information. When users submit
sensitive information via the VinylBid website, their information is protected
both online and offline.
When any sensitive
information (such as credit card numbers, personal contact information, passwords
etc.) is transmitted over the internet while visiting VinylBid.com, that information

a 128-bit SSL Certificate. This certificate is installed on our server and ensures
safe and secure transmission of information while using a secure page on our site.
While on a secure page, such as our registration form, the lock icon displayed
at the bottom of the user's browser indicates that the information is being transferred

E-mails
sent by Vinylbid to its Members
We
send all of our new members a welcoming e-mail to verify their username and password.
Additionally, automatic e-mails are sent to buyers and sellers while involved
in a live, and eventually closed auction. Members do not have the option of opting
out of receiving such communication materials, as they are an integral part of
VinylBid's services.
Established members
may occasionally receive information on products, services, or special deals.
Out of respect for the privacy of our users we present the option to opt out of
receiving these types of communication materials. Please see our E-Mail Opt-Out
section below.

Users
who no longer wish to receive our e-mail notifications may opt-out of receiving

and entering their e-mail address, or by e-mailing us at techsupport@vinylbid.com.
Correction/Updating
Personal Information
If
a user's personally identifiable information changes (such as billing information,
address etc.), or requires correction, that information can be changed through
our Account Services section. This Privacy Policy will
still apply to any changed or corrected personal information.

to the Privacy Policy

the case of amendments to the Privacy Policy, such changes will be publicly posted
on VinylBid.com's homepage, as well as being sent by e-mail to users who have
selected to be notified of site activity in such a manner. Users of the site will
always be aware of the information we collect, how we use it, and under which
circumstances, if any, we disclose it. Users who are not comfortable with any
amendments to the Privacy Policy are free to relinquish their membership. We will
always use information in accordance with the Privacy Policy under which the information
was collected.
