Welcome to VinylBid.com, the first ever comprehensive online auction website devoted entirely to the worldwide DJ community. The purpose of this site is to create a forum for DJ's, music enthusiasts, and the like, to assist in safe and effective buying & selling of CD's, records and audio/lighting equipment with fellow music lovers around the world.

The site's incredible breadth of categories, a public wishlist, and other special features allow members to gain access to music and equipment that might otherwise be difficult to find, at non-retail prices.

The key to making VinylBid work for you, our community member, is to understand the principles upon which our community is based; they are:

Mutual respect and good will amongst the different members that are a part of VinylBid, all of whom share a love for the music and culture surrounding the global dance community.
Responsibility to complete transactions on behalf of both sellers and buyers. This means buyers must accept responsibility for the bids they place, while sellers must understand that a winning bid means owing the item to the buyer at the price it was won.
Trust. We encourage our members to review each other's user profiles before assessing whether or not they wish to place a bid on an item. Once a member develops a good reputation within the VinylBid community, we encourage others to place reasonable trust in dealing with that individual.
An open-minded approach to new styles of music, and an appreciation of the artistry and diversity behind many of these incredible productions. We recognize that all forms of music are interrelated and hope to encourage others to explore for themselves the vastness of this medium.
