The VinylBid.com ratings work on a 5-point system. The points are represented by stars; a "3 out of 5" rating would look like: .

VinylBid's comprehensive ratings system consists of two features, which you see beside each seller and bidder's names within an auction listing:

1. The Composite Rating: (positives, neutrals, negatives)

•    The first number represents the total # of Positive ratings; (a 4 or 5 out of 5 counts as a positive rating.)
•     The second number represents the total # of Neutral ratings; (a 3 out of 5 counts as a neutral rating.)
•    The third number represents the total # of Negative ratings; (a 1 or 2 out of 5 counts as a negative rating.)
•     Clicking on these numbers will lead you to the full ratings & feedback details for the seller/buyer.

2. The Average Rating

•    All ratings left for a registered member are averaged out and represented in graphical form.
